Working with local partners in Nicola Watershed, BC (unceded Nlaka'pamux & Syilx territories), our project deeply respects Indigenous laws, culture, & values. Our local planting partner collaborates with Cook's Ferry, Nicomen, Shackan, Nooaitch, Upper & Lower Nicola, & Coldwater Clans on all aspects, from planting to culturally significant plants, ensuring their knowledge guides our restoration.
In Senegal, agroforestry empowers women by diversifying income (honey, fruits, vegetable) & boosting food security. Our planting partner, Mother Trees, provides tailored training & collective plots (up to 4ha in Kedougou) support their success.
