It’s About More Than Trees
veritree leverages technology to capture real-time ground and satellite data to understand the evolution of an ecosystem over time. This data provides us with insight into the impacts of our restoration efforts, enabling us to plan and respond effectively to evolving environmental pressures.
Ground-level Technology
Survivability Plots
3D Site Capture
Luma AI is a new way to create lifelike 3D environments using a phone camera. It captures objects within a landscape with intricate detail, lighting and reflections and produces a fully 3D space to fly through. We are using this technology to capture planting session evidence.
Tree Vision
Eyes on the Forest
Through Tree Vision we use cutting-edge, in-field cameras to track changes to biodiversity. These cameras record time-lapse videos of changing seasons, tree growth and moving wildlife.
Dendrometers
Guardians of Forest Health
We use dendrometers to measure the growth and health of trees over time, providing data on factors like trunk diameter and biomass accumulation. This information helps veritree track carbon sequestration and tree growth rates.
Bioacoustic Monitors
Eavesdropping on Wildlife
Bioacoustic monitors capture the sounds of wildlife during morning and evening hours using dual microphones. They unveil valuable information about species diversity and population dynamics.
IoT Sensors
Connected to Nature
We use IoT sensors to monitor environmental conditions such as soil moisture, temperature, and humidity, which enhances our understanding of tree health and ecosystem dynamics. This data provides ongoing insights to our corporate partners on the conditions for their planting projects.
G.R.O.O.T. System
Tech Hub for Tree Insights
The “Ground-level Real-time Observations of Trees” system serves as a central hub, housing various gateways driven by tele-connectivity. It integrates with up to 30 sensors in the field, gathering and transmitting real-time data to veritree's dashboard.
The Collect App
Tech Hub for Tree Insights
Using veritree's signature Collect App, we collect data and evidence from multiple sources throughout the lifecycle of a restorative project. Data can be collected offline and synced once wireless connectivity is available. Depending on the type of restoration project, veritree provides guidance on what data and metrics need to be recorded and uploaded through the App.
